Meet Carrie Crumbaugh Love
Carrie Crumbaugh Love has been in private practice since 2002 and has built a great reputation representing clients for over 22 years in Washington, D.C. and Maryland.
In 2022, Carrie was named Best Criminal Defense Attorneys in Washington, D.C. by Expertise.com. In 2016, Carrie was selected by the National Trial Lawyers as a Top 100 Trial Lawyer in DC for criminal defense. She was also named a Top Lawyer in DC by the Global Directory of Who’s Who, an international publication that recognizes top professionals worldwide.
Carrie earned her J.D. with honors -cum laude- at American University’s prestigious Washington School of Law in 2001.
Prior to starting The Law Firm of Carroll Crumbaugh Love PLLC in 2007, Carrie worked for over five years at one of the area’s leading boutique law firms handling a variety of criminal and civil matters, including a number of high-profile cases.
Carrie continues to build her skills. She completed the National Institute of Trial Advocacy’s Trial Advocacy Skills program. She is a qualified practitioner in DWI Detection and Standardized Field Sobriety Testing. She attends annual Continuing Legal Education courses to further her skills.
She is a member of the District of Columbia Women’s Bar Association, District of Columbia Superior Court Trial Lawyers Association, the Maryland Criminal Defense Attorney’s Association and the White Collar Woman’s Defense Association.
Carrie is licensed to practice law in Washington, D.C. and Maryland. She is a member of the District of Columbia Bar and the Maryland State Bar Association. Carrie is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia and the United States District Court for the District of Maryland.
Carrie regularly practices in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, the local District and Circuit Courts of Maryland and the United States District Courts of the District of Columbia and Maryland. She handles matters throughout the Maryland, including in Montgomery County, Prince George’s County, Anne Arundel County, Howard County, Worcester County and many others. Carrie consults nationwide regarding criminal immigration consequence remedies.
